Itinerary:

Day 1
Saturday, November 21
We will be getting an early start from Illinois today and heading to the Country Music Capital of the world....Nashville, TN. We enter a whole new world when we experience the charm and elegance of the South upon our check-in at the Opryland Hotel. They will be all decked out in nearly two million Christmas lights. Travel Channel has named it “the most Christmassy place in the World”. This is the only hotel in the world that offers nine acres of lush indoor gardens, winding pathways and sparkling waterfalls, not to mention 30 specialty shops and a variety of restaurants and lounges, preserved under a brilliant 15-story glass dome. You won’t want to miss the Yule log Ceremony daily at 5:30 PM, the Dancing Water Show held 3 times a day at the Delta Fountain Show. After our evening meal we will head over to the Grand Ole’ Opry, what made Nashville the Home of Country Music! You will also have tickets to the Treasures For the Holidays Craft Show along with tickets to the Hall of Trees. (B)

Day 2
Sunday, November 22
All aboard!!!! It’s time to cruise as we listen to the live entertainment while we enjoy a meal and cruise aboard the General Jackson Showboat! We will have a little free time this afternoon to shop in OpryMills Outlet Mall the new $200 Million entertainment and retail complex featuring laser light shows, 200 stores and a state-of-the-art mulitiples cinema. There is also a Bass Pro Shop, Rainforest Cafe & IMAX 3D Theatre. Tonight we have tickets to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the World-Famous Rockettes. Their performance will dazzle you with the lighting, scenery and costumes. (L)

Day 3
Monday, November 23
Today will be another busy day exploring the Arts and Craft Show and visiting the Opryland Hotel’s Ice Palace, an exhibit of carvings, sculputres and three-dimensional holiday themed displays....all made out of ice. This afternoon will have more time to explorer and shop the Opry Mills Outlet Center or the beauty of the Opryland Hotel. Tonight we will enjoy Grammy Award-winning Louise Mandrell, at The Louise Mandrell “Joy to the World” Holiday Dinner Show, filled with lots of Christmas music and good food. (D)

Day 4
Tuesday, November 24
Today we head home but the beauty and charm of the Opryland Hotel will remain with us along with our shopping bags filled with crafts and bargains from the OpryMills Outlet Mall. Arriving home in the early evening.
