Day 1
Friday, September 25
We will enjoy the fall scenery as we head north this morning to Baraboo, WI and Ho Chunk Casino. We will stop for a mid-morning break and arrive at Ho Chunk in time for lunch. You will be given a $20 play on your players card from the Casino and you’re ready to start your day of fun and games. If you would like to go to the Downtown Dell’s area, the bus will shuttle you there and back. You will have a couple hours to explore before heading back to the hotel and casino. The hotel is attached to the casino making it easy and convenient. The 90,000 square feet of gambling will offer you the best with over 2400 slots, video poker and blackjack tables. There is also bingo sessions offered.
Day 2
Saturday, September 26
The bus will depart from Ho Chunk after breakfast to go to Warren, WI and the Cranberry Festival. Guests will ride a school bus to area cranberry marshes where they will learn about the cranberry industry. They will be able to get off at a cranberry marsh to see the beds and equipment. The Farm Market has over 100 vendors with fall produce from painted pumpkins, dried flowers, flavored honey, candy, Amish noodles, apples, and a variety of cranberry items; fresh cranberries, juice, Craisins, cranberry sauce, jams and jellies. The Antique & Flea Market has approximately 350 vendors selling new merchandise, toys, collectibles, gloves, primitives, sports cards, sweats, fishing & hunting supplies, jewelry, leather, southwestern art, depression glass, crocks, as well as a large art & craft area. The Art & Crafts Show has more than 800 booths with vendors coming from all over the country. The booths are hand picked for their unusual and interesting art or craft. The Cranberry Festival is a great place to do some early Christmas shopping. In all, the festival boasts over 1,500 booths of arts & crafts, antique & flea market, and farm market items covering more than three miles of booth frontage. Again, today you will receive a $20 play on your players card from the casino.
Day 3
Sunday, September 27
You will receive another $20 play on your players card from the casino to try your lucky one more time before departing for home after lunch. We will be arriving home early evening. |
