Day 1
Sunday, Feb. 10
Join us as we travel to the land of sunshine and crystal clear waters of Clearwater Beach. Our first night will be in Nashville, TN at the Club House Inn hotel. (B)
Day 2
Monday, Feb. 11
Today is a travel day as we journey through Tennessee and Georgia, stopping in Valdosta, GA at the La Quinta Inn and Suites.
Day 3
Tuesday, Feb. 12
We will arrive in Clearwater in the late afternoon and have a chance to settle in and enjoy our Oceanside resort. We will be staying at the Gulfview Oceanfront Resort for 7 nights. You will have a hot breakfast every morning in the hotels café. (B)
Day 4
Wednseday, Feb. 13
Today is a free day for you to get aquinted with Clearwater Beach and do some exploring. Jump on the Jolly Trolley and ride all around the island. There are great places to eat and shop and it's so easy with your on and off trolley pass. (B)
Day 5
Thursday, Feb. 14
Today we are going to explore Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks. We will depart after breakfast and spend a nice relaxing day in the shops and eating at the wonderful restaurants. Learn from the Sponge divers how they harvest the sponges. There is a trolley that you can ride to see more of Tarpon Springs. (B)
Day 6
Friday, Feb. 15
Yo! Ho! A Pirates life for Me!!! This afternoon we will sail the "oceans blue" as we take a ride on Captain Memo's Pirates Boat. After our cruise we will enjoy the great food at "Frenchy's" for an early dinner. (B,D)
Day 7
Saturday, Feb. 16
We are going to go to Tampa and visit "Bush Gardens". We will be spending the day enjoying all that Bush Gardens has to offer. (B)
Day 8
Sunday, Feb. 17
A day of total relaxing, or swimming in the pool, a walk on the beach or maybe watch the Daytona 500 on TV before we enjoy our patio BBQ by the beach this afternoon. Feast on good food, good company and great views!! (B,D)
Day 9
Monday, Feb. 18
Spend your last day in Clearwater Beach doing whatever you would like to do-maybe a trip on the trolley or grab those last few hours on the beach. This is our last day in Clearwater Beach. (B)
Day 10
Tuesday, Feb. 19
We begin our journey back to Illinois with a stop at the "We're Nutz" shop along the way for fresh nuts and great peach ice cream. We will be staying in Marietta, GA at the Drury Inn. (B)
Day 11
Wednesday, Feb. 20
Today will take us thru Tennessee, Kentucky and back into Illinois. We will stop in Mansfield, TN at the Russell Stover Candy Factory Outlet store for some goodies. Our home tonight will be the Drury Inn in Mt Vernon, IL (B)
Day 12
Thursday, Feb. 21
You will arrive back to your destination in the early afternoon after 11 nights and 12 days of sun and fun in Clearwater Beach. (B)
