Day 1
Thursday, Nov. 5
Today is our travel day as we journey to Branson for the 2009 Season of Christmas Shows. We will arrive just time to go to an early dinner and show. . Eat you dessert first!! That is the rules at McFarlians restaurants. The “Traffic Jam” Pie is wonderful, and so is the rest of your meal. After dinner at McFarland’s, we will enjoy the “Hughes Brothers Show”. The Hughes Brothers and the “Worlds Largest Performing Family”... 5 Brothers + 5 wives + 26 children and counting. An incredible award-winning harmony, hilarious antics, energetic dance and smooth instruments makes this one of Branson’s Favorite shows. We will check into our hotel, the 1st Inn Branson, right in the heart of all the action on Hwy 76. This will be our home away from home for the next 3 nights. The hotel is located next to Branson Variety Theater, near Andy Williams Moon River Theater and across from the Grand Palace Theater. D
Day 2
Friday, Nov. 6
Breakfast will be at our hotel and then on to the Doug Gabriel Show. This is a show filled with song, fun and laughter from the “little man with the big voice”, and has been voted “Male Vocalist of the Year” for 7 years. Lunch will be at the Lone Star Steak House, followed by the high energy talents of the young people in the Country Tonight Show! Dinner will be at Gilley’s Cafe. Our evening show will be the “Osmond’s Brothers Christmas Show” at the New Osmond’s Theatre!! Enjoy the music and humor of Jimmy, Jay and Wayne in their new show at their original theatre. BLD
Day 3
Saturday, Nov. 7
We’ll get our day started right this morning with an eye-open’n, Nostalgic Musical Journey through the Decades from Ragtime to Rock and Roll! The Red, Hot & Blue Show will wake you up!!!! Lunch will be at Sadie’s Sideboard where “it’s all you can eat” great southern cookin’, before heading to the Tri-Lakes Theatre to see the Daniel O’Donnell Show. .Daniel is one of the hottest tickets in Branson and we got him!! Join us for an afternoon with Daniel as he sings traditional Irish ballads, country favorites and traditional gospel. Next Stop!!... Following dinner at the Paradise Steakhouse, we will enjoy Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express. Clay and his incredible cast have created a high energy show filled with singing, dancing, gun slinging and comedy. BLD
Day 4
Sunday, Nov. 8
This is a travel day as we head back north to Illinois but the fun isn’t over yet as we continue our adventure aboard the coach. We are going to make a stop in Lebanon, MO at the Russell Stover Candy Factory outlet store, a good time to stock up on those “sweet” Christmas gifts. We will enjoy remembering the good times we had and the new friends we have met…the perfect way to spend the Christmas season. Arriving back to our cars in the early evening. B
