Day 1
Wednesday, November 14
Today is a travel day as we journey to Branson for the 2012 Season of Christmas Shows. We will be stopping near St Louis at the Cracker Barrel for lunch and rest stops along the way. We will arrive just time to go to an early dinner and show. First we will check into our hotel that will be our home for the next three nights…. The Branson Towers. Our rooms have pillow top beds, new furniture and refrigerator and all rooms are non-smoking. As you enter the three story Grand Lobby you'll see the Grand Staircase, player piano and the Gazebo Hall where they serve a hot breakfast every morning, including homemade biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, and pastries. Dinner will be at the Lone Star Steakhouse before going to the Andy Williams Christmas Show. The Christmas season is not complete without the spirited vocals that can be heard at the Andy Williams Christmas Show. During this holiday season, the Moon River stage will transform into a scene of winter bliss as Williams serenades his guests with traditional Christmas carols. Having recorded 8 Christmas albums, Andy Williams has been penned as “Mr. Christmas “and he more than lives up to such a title in this production. In addition to outstanding vocals from Andy Williams, dancers also move gracefully across the set while striking acrobatic poses to the dynamics of the live band. With all these elements combined, the Andy Williams Christmas Show captures the season’s magic and delivers a memorable experience to visitors of the Moon River Theater. BD
